Visiting Artist - Sharon Marshall

CARFAC BC: Building a Brighter Future for Artists

Sharon Marshall, a Cree leader, writer, storyteller, and digital artist, brings over three decades of expertise in strategic development and community empowerment to her role as Executive Director of CARFAC BC. Rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing, her leadership strengthens CARFAC BC’s focus on reconciliation, cultural sovereignty, and equitable access in the visual arts. As the founder of Cree8iv Collaboration Inc. and DEVA Training & Staffing Solutions, and through her work with Ecotrust Canada, Sharon has demonstrated her commitment to Indigenous economic development, digital equity, energy justice, and rural community empowerment. With an MBA from Royal Roads University and extensive experience supporting Indigenous communities, Sharon combines traditional knowledge with innovative approaches to foster meaningful reconciliation.
