COVID-19 exposure at ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ, Interurban Campus, Centre for Health and Wellness

Update: May 21, 2021

Camosun takes the health and safety of students and employees seriously with aΜύΜύin place. In the event of a confirmed COVID-19 case the college follows the protocols in theΜύΜύand theΜύΜύas public health authorities are responsible for determining the notification processes and requirements.

The college was notified on May 19, 2021, by Island Health about a COVID-19 exposure on May 17, 2021, at the Alex & Jo Campbell Centre for Health and Wellness, Interurban campus. Island Health has initiated contact tracing to identify anyone who has a high-risk exposure. These individuals are being directly contacted for further guidance. Isolation is not required unless Island Health deems an individual as having a high-risk exposure.

Out of caution only, a cleaning team has used the Clorox 360 disinfecting machine in the affected areas.
