What to expect
The courses are designed to provide you with a transformational education while recognizing the education, skills and nursing experience that LPNs bring to the program. The PN2BSN courses will support you by being flexible in design and by including specific pedagogical approaches (including evolving case studies) that prepare you for professional RN practice.
Your focus will be on clinical reasoning, care planning, prioritization, and evaluation in the context of acute and chronic health challenges and co-morbidities. Learn to provide clear, caring communication, and documentation for patients, families, and other health care providers. Graduates of the program will be eligible to enter the consolidated practice experience at the end of second year (Consolidated Practice Experience 2), and continue to the fifth semester of the BSN program.
