The Nagweyaab Rainbow Award celebrates students who offer help and support, with a greater good in mind, to other students and their communities. The beneficiaries of this award are LGBQT+ 2 spirited students of Indigenous ancestry who are studying at ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ within the last 12 months leading up to the IECC Ceremonies.ΜύThe student must demonstrate service, commitment, and contribution towards the community to which they belong.
Criteria
Criteria
- be currently registered as a student at ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ
- have Indigenous (First Nations, MΓ©tis, Inuit, or Native American) ancestry
- have aΒ GPAΒ of 2.5 or equivalent
- submit a letter from the student detailing their life aspirations
- submit a letter of reference from a leader or other member of the community to which they belong
- complete the application form
